I’m Yin Wu, a professionally trained architectural lighting designer with extensive experience across a wide range of notable projects in various sectors. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, home to one of the top architectural engineering and lighting design programs in the country.

I spent many years at one of the world’s most renowned lighting design firms, LDA, where I worked on a variety of glamorous projects, primarily in the hospitality, retail, and residential sectors. I then served as the West Coast lighting lead at an international consulting engineering firm, where I gained invaluable experience collaborating closely with brilliant engineers on large-scale cultural, commercial, and higher education projects.

I’ve had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects with diverse clients and architects, and I’m truly grateful for those experiences—they’ve given me a unique perspective on how design comes to life in different contexts. I especially value working with architects and interior designers who embrace a collaborative spirit. I firmly believe that lighting should be integrated from the very beginning of the design process, not treated as an afterthought. That philosophy is at the heart of this practice: offering a seamless, holistic design service where interior design and lighting are developed together.
